After Add Port-in, you can continuously check for port status through Inquire Port-in Status API. It will return you status as mentioned in section 13.
OP – The port is in process
CF – The porting has been confirmed and processing can continue
CN – The port request has been cancelled
CO – The port-in has been completed and the number has been activated within FTC
CT – There is some conflict with the port
DN – The port request has been denied and the number cannot be used within FTC
ER – There was some error during port processing
If status is “OP” (The port is in process). Then keep checking the status
If status is “CF” (The porting has been confirmed and processing can continue) then you may display Cancel Port-in and Activate Port-in options to the customer. Section 16, Activate Port-in is actually going to active the customer phone number on new network.
If status is “CT” or “DN” or “ER”, then may display Update Port-in and Cancel Port in.
