South Carolina High School Football on TV

But the Games of the Week are only the tip of the iceberg for South Carolina high school football TV coverage. Before the season started, a coach from all 16 schools sat down with host Chip Chase to talk about the upcoming season. These are shown on the channel before the team’s games and other times.

An added bonus was that nearly all the coaches brought at least one player to talk about their individual goals as well as those for the team. As you can imagine, the student-athletes who came really represented their teams and programs well.

Finally, the Sumter Touchdown Club presented by FTC recognizes four players weekly for great performances (Special thanks to SAFE Federal Credit Union for helping sponsor these awards): Offensive Player of the Week, Defensive Player of the Week, Lineman of the Week and Special Teams Player of the Week. These meetings are held on Friday mornings and are shown on FTC Now the following Thursday. (Those interested can get more information on the organization by going to sumtertdclub.com.)

So, if you want a full night of high school football, tune in to FTC Now, channel 26 on FTC TV, and watch the Sumter Touchdown Club presented by FTC at 5:30 p.m., followed by the coach’s kickoffs at 6:30 and the Game of the Week at 7 p.m.
