Bear Stew with white rice and okra

Ingredients

  • Bear Meat
  • Chopped onions
  • Chopped Celery
  • Chopped bell peppers
  • 4 cups of beef broth
  • Chopped roasted red peppers
  • Chopped green chilli peppers
  • 1 packet of onion soup mix
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Bacon (7-8 pieces cut in halves)
  • Small red potatoes (diced in chunks)
  • Seasoning salt

Side Dish:

  • White Rice
  • Okra

Directions

This recipe was cooked in a can cooker for 30 minutes. Combine and stir in all ingredients on a medium to high stovetop. Drain bear meat and place into pot. Latch down the top and let cook. Combine rice and okra and cook desired amount on stovetop. Once the rice and stew are both finished, plate the rice and okra and scoop out stew and cover rice or place beside and enjoy this rustic meal!
