Caramelized Banana Sauce


  • 2 very ripe bananas, sliced into rounds
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla


In a small skillet, melt butter.  Add brown sugar and vanilla and heat until mixture is melted together.  Add bananas and stir gently.  Remove from heat and service immediately over vanilla ice cream.
