Chili and Beans – Soups 2010

Ingredients

  • 2 – 3 lbs ground beef
  • 2 cans red kidney beans
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic
  • 1 med onion chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper chopped
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes
  • 1 can of tomato sauce
  • 2 cups ketchup

Directions

Brown beef and drain well. Sauté onion and pepper until soft. Add to beef.  Add tomato sauce, tomatoes, and ketchup. Add chili powder and garlic. Add beans and cook for about 1 hour on low heat.
