Easy Fall Foods, Whoopie Pies, Pizza Monkey Bread, Vegetarian Dip and Bar-B-Que Sliders

Ingredients

Whoopie Pies

  • Deluxe Devils Food Cake box mix
  • 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 3/4 Cup of Water
  • 3 Eggs
  • Cup of Shortening
  • Cup of Milk
  • 5 TBS All Purpose Flour
  • Cup of Sugar
  • 2 tsps of Vanilla Flavoring

Pizza Monkey Bread

  • 2 TBS Olive Oil
  • 2 TBS Garlic
  • 1 TBS Italian Seasoning
  • 1.5 Cups of Mozzarella Cheese
  • 5 oz Container of Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • Pepperoni Roughly Cut
  • 2 Cans of Pie Crust

Vegetarian Dip

  • 2 Cans of Cannellini Beans
  • TBS Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp of Onion Salt
  • 1 TBS Dried Cilantro Leaves
  • 1 TBS Olive Oil

Bar-B-Que Sliders

  • 2 Rotisserie Chickens
  • Olive Oil
  • 1 Bottle of Bar-B-Que Sauce
  • Cole Slaw
  • King Hawaiian Rolls

 

 

 

 

Directions

Whoopie Pies: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Combine ingredients and use a mixer to blend together. Use a cookie sheet and cover with foil. Grease the foil with shortening. Dip batter as three inch circles on the sheet. Bake in oven for 10 minutes. Filling: In sauce pot on medium heat ad 1 cup of Milk, 5 TBS of all purpose flour, stir until it gets thick. Sit aside to cool off. In a separate bowl add a cup of sugar and a cup of shortening and cream together, then add vanilla flavoring. Once it is cooled add flour and milk mixture and use mixer to blend. Once cake circles are baked and cooled, Spoon in filling and top with another cake circle.

Pizza Monkey Bread: Spray Bundt cake pan well. In a mixing bowl combine olive oil, garlic, Italian seasoning, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, and pepperoni and mix together. Sprinkle all purpose flour on large cutting board or countertop and round out pie dough with rolling pin. Cut dough into small triangular pieces. Put a little of the mixture at the bottom and then line a layer of dough and alternate between mixture and dough. Bake on 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Vegetarian Dip: In mixing bowl, pour in beans and mash with masher and beat with mixer until they are softened. Add Garlic, Onion Salt, Cilantro Leaves and Olive and mix well with mixer. Ready to serve with crackers or on raw veggies.

Bar-B-Que Sliders: Drizzle a small amount of olive oil in skillet and heat. Pull away meat from rotisserie chickens, discarding skin and bones. Heat Chicken in skillet. Add a bottle of your favorite Bar-B-Que sauce. Continue to stir and heat. Add bar-b-que and slaw to each roll.
