Quiche Lorraine Strada


3 Loaves French Bread

2 Tbs Olive Onion

1 Onion Sliced

10 Eggs

1 Package Ham Steak

8 oz Swiss Cheese grated

1 to 1 1/2 lbs of Fresh Spinach

2 1/2 cups of Half n Haf

Salt and Pepper to taste


Slice bread into 1 inch cubs and broil in oven until golden brown

Heat Olive Oil on Medium High and add sliced onion, stirring until carmelized

Break Eggs into bowl and sit aside

Rough cut ham steak removing fat and bone

In a separate bowl put carmelized onion, ham, and grated cheese

Wilt spinach in same pan as onions, drain spinach in collander and squeeze to remove all excess water. Add spinach to bowl with onion, ham and cheese. Stir until ingredients are well blended.

Add Salt, Pepper, and Half n Half to eggs and whisp until well blended.

In large greased casserole dish, put breadcrumbs on botton, add onion, ham, cheese and spinach mixture.

Pour egg mixture over entire dish.

Cover and let sit in refridgerator for 2 to 16 hours.

When ready to bake, heat oven to 350 degrees, bake covered for twenty minutes, remove cover and continue baking for 1 hour
