Sweet and Sour Baked Wings Tailgate Episode 2010


  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • Cayenne pepper to taste
  • 1 – 2 tablespoons cornstarch


Salt and pepper wings. Bake wings on a lightly greased cookie sheet at 350° until tender and juices run clear (about 20 – 30 minutes). In a small pot, bring soy sauce, honey, onion and pepper to a boil. Add corn starch to thicken. Cook until flavors are well blended. Baste wings on one side with sauce and return to oven for about 5 minutes. Baste wings on the side and return to oven for 5 additional minutes. Depending on taste, repeat this step.
